"I got daughters on the way"

No I really don't have daughters on the way, actually I don't know what I have on the way yet because the belly is only 7 weeks in. During a mental ipod session, you know where a song comes in your head and keeps playing all day in your head until you actually hear it, Well Jay-z "Beach Chair" came on and that line had me thinking. I've always heard if you treat women well you have a son and if your a "dog" you have girls. Needless to say I believed in this because both my dudes caught girls on their first try, But my cousin who might be Goldie reincarnated has a boy so that theory automatically becomes flawed, right? Now I'm up next with the gender unknown still at this point, Honestly I'm so nervous, I'm not what one would consider a dog , but I've had a little bite and bark in my past. I haven't always been the most faithful and trustworthy boyfriend but shouldn't I get a leniency for putting in a change now. I wish there was like some pregnancy judge I could speak to and plead my case. Everybody think it's going to be a boy and I really hope it is. Like I know how I was as a young dude growing up and I would be scared shitless knowing I had daughter who potentially run into a 2.o version of myself.

I wouldn't want to be an overprotective father but I have a feeling if I had a daughter I would be one of the "Crazy pops", you know when you like a girl but you were scared to come around or call because her dad was crazy. But it's crazy because the girls who had the overprotective parents were the girls popping off before everybody else and were usually the one who ended up with kids, std s,etc first. So basically it's a damned if you do damned if you don't situation. I don't know how the younger generation is getting down these days, But I was getting involved at a very early age and it's scares me to think that daddy's little girl could one of the girls getting "down".

Maybe I sound a little bias right now, which I pretty much am , But its because I think boys are a million times easier to raise, get them some clothes video games and music , sports and a great parental figure and they're good, well its not that easy but you get the jist of what I'm trying to say. Honestly at this point I just want a baby that's going to be healthy but If I have a girl I will be happy that its alive and healthy but I will cry, Seriously....

I understand what you mean, yeah I think boys are easier to raise, also.
Theres so much to know & inform girls about when they get older. Its funny, cause guys do what they do, then they have a babygirl..and they're like "oh no..what if my child runs into another version of me when i get older?" lol, i heard that ALOT. and its mostly from dudes.
and, you would cry..why?

I'm 100% sure that whatever you have you'll be a great father -- just off that fact that you'll actually be there.
I mean, I agree w. you .. . boys are much easier to raise, but a girl isn't that bad either. At the end of the day, just being a great father makes that much of a difference. I know so many of my friends that also say their gonna be that "crazy pops" if they have a girl, do whatever it takes.. . as long as you're in that child's life is what's most important.

I'm with "el, the high low life." You'll raise your baby with lots of love and happiness. And you will be the best parent you can be :) Congrats by the way!

Lmao...yea your hella bias. I think its hard to raise kids regardless of gender period but I think its easier to live in society as a boy so thats why more people want them :( lol either way, congrats ;)

i don't know much about kids because i don't have any but i think that any child, regardless of gender, is hard to raise in today's society. as long as you raise your child and not television, video games, and music your child will greatly appreciate you, respect you and value your opinions. it's okay to let your child have those things though. girl or boy, raise your child with lots of love and listen to them when they talk, especially if it's a girl, girls are verbal beings. congratulations, i think you'll be a great dad.

aaww JO your having a typical reaction right now. but i honestly think that you will be a great father to whatever you have. Just being there for your child to talk to and shed some advice for will steer them in the right direction.

I totally understand too! Some people say men who were once dogs are blessed with baby girls because it gives them another chance to make things right. you as a father knowing your very own daughter can go through what her mom and women before her went through can make you change who you are as an individual when it comes to relationships. Is this true> could be I've seen some change due to having girls. But Id rather a BOY! LOL

i think your gonna be a great dad if its a girl more power to you due to the fact your very over protective you didnt even let niggas talk to me when we was together and if its a boy well then me and him will be bumping heads alot lol love ya

awwww.. yea your clearly bothered by the idea that if you have a girl.. her heart might be broken by a "dogtype dude"?
However i think both sexes are the just as difficult as the other. with dudes- there are gangs, lazyness(lol), misuse of the penis, fights, drugs, yadda yadda..
with girls- fights as well, gangs even(though rarely), pregnancy..and maintenance?

the biggest difference however is that for females pregnancy actually shows on the physical and may be frowned down upon at a young age..

but I think youll be fine. consistency is the key, just constantly play an active role in he or shes life and be there every step of the way. and if you see trouble brewin call me and ill get you the belt. lol

Noone wants girls wtf? We feel unwanted here buddy!!

Lol but YEAH thats a quote i been hearing around the net lately alot

"I Got Demons in my past so i got daughters on the way"

Well what that quote means is that if you do females dirty you not only have a girl, you have a girl who is one of the ones who you'll have to worry about Getting down.

My brother has a daughter and he's one of those people and the over protectiveness that he has might be her reason for turning into a wild child

dont worry raise ya kids right and dont be TOO overprotective because children like that get loose and let loose
